Streaming before streaming.
This practice started in 2004, in Brooklyn, under a different name. For sixteen years Iris MediaWorks made commercials, feature films, and branded content — and, long before the platforms made it ordinary, webcasts. We were streaming before Periscope, before Facebook Live, before YouTube Live put a button on it.
In 2020 Iris closed, and the practice was rebuilt around the one thing that had quietly become the most interesting work in the building: events that only happen once. Same crew instincts, same cinema grammar, same Brooklyn — aimed entirely at live. That company is PTR & Co, and it works under the name you found us by.
Twenty years of feature film, broadcast television, and digital media sit behind every show we call. Today we serve clients across the United States and around the world — major corporations and institutions, nonprofits and grassroots organizations alike. The scale changes; the standard doesn’t.

Rousseau
Patrick Rousseau
Patrick founded Iris MediaWorks in 2004 and ran it for sixteen years before closing it to rebuild the practice around live. Coming from feature film production, he recognized that events which only happen once deserve the same cinematic craft and attention to detail as any Hollywood production — and that almost nobody was giving them that.
He’s overseen countless live events, from intimate nonprofit fundraisers to large-scale corporate productions, and is passionate about solving technical challenges and building lasting relationships with clients.
When not producing streams, Patrick is tinkering with new video technology, mentoring the next generation of broadcast engineers, and championing emerging artists as a Board Member and Treasurer of The Tank, an Obie Award-winning NYC nonprofit theater.
Conner Thompson
Conner’s technical expertise keeps the studio running at peak performance. With deep experience across editing, producing, and real-time broadcast, he brings a rare combination of creative sensibility and engineering precision to every project.
His client roster speaks for itself: work for Facebook, Starbucks, the Sundance Film Festival, Sesame Street, the United Nations, the ACLU, Saks Fifth Avenue, Times Square NYE Ball Drop, NHL, MLB, and many more. Whether it’s a multi-camera keynote or a high-energy concert stream, he makes sure every technical detail is dialed in.
